DutchBSD advises on content delivery networks: which to use, how to configure them, and which trade-offs matter for a given workload. This is one area of our engineering consultancy, and it does not require using a DutchBSD product.

Choosing a CDN, or more than one, and understanding what each choice costs and provides. Configuration decisions with clear trade-offs rather than defaults carried over from another setup. Operating delivery once it is live, including how it behaves when a provider does not.
Background
Our founder, Wouter Spee, co-founded Warpcache, a multi-CDN company, and served as VP Engineering at Spil Games. His work spans infrastructure, content delivery, software development and engineering leadership.
That experience is the basis for this work: content delivery seen from the operator's side rather than the brochure's.
How we approach it
We aim to keep systems understandable and maintainable, and delivery is no exception. A configuration that nobody can explain is a configuration that cannot be changed safely.
Simplicity does not mean avoiding difficult problems. It means being deliberate about which complexity is necessary and which can be removed.
